Turn inspiration into an original design
A reference is a way to explain taste, not permission to copy someone else’s work.
Describe the relationship
Tell the assistant whether the linked site is yours, a competitor’s or simply a visual reference. If access is restricted, provide an authorised screenshot rather than credentials.
Name the useful details
Explain whether you like the colour mood, spacing, typography or navigation. A screenshot of an Instagram profile can clarify style, but it should not automatically become a public gallery image.
Create something yours
Use your own wording, licensed photographs and an original arrangement of components. Uploaded references stay private unless you explicitly mark eligible owned or authorised images for publication.
